In 1967, a man by the name of Jack Messick opened a restaurant called The Boat House. Meanwhile, next door at the Arco gas station, three brothers- Bob, Jack, and Jimmy Campbell were hard at work pumping gas and fixing cars. Mr. Messick was one of their regular customers.
